X-rays

We have replaced the traditional type of x-rays with a state of the art digital system. This technology reduces patient radiation and film processing time. The images can be viewed immediately and stored for retrieval in the future.  You are able to see the enlarged x-ray image for an explanation of the problem.

Bitewings are generally taken every one to two years.  Full mouth x-rays on adults are generally taken at the time of your initial examination and may be repeated every five years.

For your convenience, we request current x-rays from other offices, and gladly forward x-rays from this office, as necessary.  If we are unable to use current x-rays, they are repeated at no cost to the patient.

If you are pregnant or suspect the possibility of pregnancy, please inform the appropriate dental health care team member.
