Our quality safety coordinator is
trained to monitor the day-to-day
standards of safety for patients and
employees.
To ensure patient safety, Dr.
Rosenbaum and his health care team
adhere to the highest infection
control standards. Our office
infection control program is based on
the philosophy that a patient's blood
and saliva are considered potentially
infectious for blood born diseases. Protective
uniforms, gloves and masks are worn
in all treatment areas as
appropriate to the procedure.
Our
office uses a clean water system to
assure patient safety. This
water is chemically treated weekly
and biologically monitored to assure
your safety.
Three steam heat sterilizers are
weekly maintained and weekly
biologically monitored for patient
safety. In addition, each
package has an internal process
indicator and is dated for easy
retrieval if a sterilization failure
occurs. An internal process
integrator is recorded each load.
Incoming and outgoing laboratory
cases are disinfected or heat
sterilized if tolerated.
